Wonderful photos of our festival.
The first festival of 2019 was themed "Diversity and Interaction" and featured just under 500 guests who enjoyed music, art and a variety of interactive activities. Over 20 DJs, singers and bands from Central Asia (Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan) and the world (Japan, France, Germany, UK) performed on stage for three days, receiving extensive media coverage as it was the first event of its kind in Kyrgyzstan. The focus on local development included a sustainable waste management component, a youth volunteer camp, and hospitality and food training at local guest houses.
The theme of the festival in 2021 was "Restoration", which allowed participants and artists to come together after the difficulties of the COVID-19 crisis, as well as support the resurgence of tourism and cultural events in Kyrgyzstan. Despite the uncertainty and risks, the 2021 event was a significant success with 1,000 guests from over 30 countries, a successful COVID-19 health and hygiene concept (no cases of C19 detected or associated with festival goers), positive visitor feedback, local and international interest media, a growing number of musicians and new stages and areas, as well as a well-known contemporary art gallery presenting the results of an art residence.
